Tenderness is my original embroidery design, created for those who love delicate openwork, counted-thread embroidery and intricate decorative details.

This is a complete step-by-step digital eBook, not simply a pattern. I have explained every stage of the embroidery in detail, with photographs and diagrams to guide you through the process.

The design combines a carefully constructed withdrawn-thread grid with delicate openwork fillings and decorative embroidery stitches. You will also learn how to create beautiful lace-like corners, Rococo flowers, Sorbello stitch, counted satin-stitch details and Punto Smerlo (buttonhole stitch) elements.

Materials

The original design was stitched on Zweigart Edinburgh 36-count, Pale Cream( if you want to choose other fabric, choose evenweave linen 36 count!!!)

Using DMC stranded cotton threads,DMc special dentelle80 or cordonnet special80,DMC pearl coton 8,12

This is an advanced embroidery project requiring careful counting, thread withdrawal and precise stitching. I strongly recommend reading the instructions several times before beginning and practising the grid and thread withdrawal on a spare piece of evenweave fabric first.
